Derby Medical Centre
The practice can trace its origins back over 100 years.
At the inception of the NHS, a group of Epsom doctors practicing from their own homes (as was the norm), co-operated in providing cross cover for their patients. By the 1950s four doctors had moved to premises in South Street and formed a partnership. Then for the next 40 years, the practice was based in The Parade, until its move to its current purpose-built accommodation, in the Lifestyle Centre in 2001.
We maintain a personal list system for continuity of care and by popular demand. There are two salaried doctors who see any partner’s patients. In cases of emergency or when the relevant partner is not available, an appointment may be offered with an alternative partner.
